..sometimes I am so confused, I do not know who is right and who is wrong.



What should be done, what should not be done.

Some has so much ego, some has so much humility.



Is it a case of my wrongdoings, faults, errors? Or is it a case of the people around me whose behaviour and character made me believe it was my fault?



Some people change very quickly. Judging spontaneously in one hasty moment.

Some rely on trust and understanding. Judging over a certain period of time.



Am I of such person who is utmost terrible at working in groups?

Or is it the people around me who are always judging me that way?



These recent happenings made me doubt my own capability and ability.



I may be more of the observer type. I do not rush in for the kill nor pushing the front line for the headlines.
I am more of a game reader. To observe and make decisions based on critical analysis.



Slow, yes. I am slow. But I prefer placement over speed.
Passive, yes, I am passive. I prefer reacting over lunging.



Is it my way of thinking and doing things been the reason all this shit is happening to me right now?
I am not the initiative type. Perhaps this has been the loose screw?



I am losing a lot of trust and believe of the people around me.

The balance is needed. This cannot continue like it is now.



It is a sad case. Disappointing.

Mr Jobs

It was just another Thursday. No classes, and I happen to wake up early. Popped into Facebook, and saw some of these posts about Steve Jobs. The newsfeed mentioned that Jobs has passed away. 

I went to the Apple website, and there, this wallpaper was placed in it.

Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, has died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. His visions and innovations has truly inspired and touched a lot of people in the world.

May he rest in peace.

closing ceremony

here are some pictures taken during our Terang! Architectural Workshop. It happened during the final day of the workshop, during the closing ceremony. I was in the band to perform live, and these are some of the pictures I took with my D7000. Btw I used the Speedlite SB800 borrowed from Atta. Should consider myself getting one as well.

This is my senior. His name is Tiong. He just graduated. He is the lead singer.

Welcoming the Year of the Rabbid

Its that time of the year again.

Chinese New Year, that is!!

the most celebrated festival!! well...at least for me. (Remember Christmas?)

So, its the year of the Rabbit. 

On 1st thought of rabbit, I straightaway remembered Rayman's Raving Rabbids.

They were like,the most memorable rabbits to me!

hell, even Bugs Bunny lost.

so, as usual, a big bunch of schematic new year quotes sprouted from nowhere to TVs, radios, adboards, even packagings of food and stuff.

I feel that its so lame.

Pizza Hut no pizza

i was having a good, boring day with a nice mood. cuz i had this voucher and i thought imma have some pizza tonight.

7pm.

my younger brother and sister were with me. 

We went to the Pizza Hut at Giant.

Reached the entrance.

"Makan sini or take away?"

I showed her the voucher.

"Oh,sorry, pizza dah habis. Tinggal pasta sajer."

....

.......

WHAT??

What does she mean, pizza dah habis??

How can that happen? It is so unacceptable! 

Its like u go to KFC and they tell u:"sorry, ayam dah habis, tinggal mash potato dan coleslaw."

Its like u go to Burger King and they tell u:"sorry, burger dah habis, tinggal roti jer. nak?"

Its like u go to Fish and Co. and they tell u:"sorry, ikan dah habis, tinggal sotong jer."

Come on lah, ur a fast food outlet, going out of stock is like really dumb. Sigh.

This happened the 1st time to me. I hope next time when i go to KFC or whatever, they dont tell me their chicken has expired or whatever.

True to You (Live and Acoustic)

last last night was UTM's Chinese New Year Cultural Night, something we don't participate without any good reason.
Well, a few of us archi went to that event.

Reason?

Zai is performing his song, True To You.


our musical grandmaster, is going upstage to perform his 2nd single. Well, we wouldnt wanna miss that, right? :)


hence, an agreement was reached. i contacted Tay Hui Hui, fellow fac mate studying QS, who had just gotten herself a brand new Nikon D3100. Slurrrp, yummy. A great chance to test its video qualities.


Reached the front door of DSI. A lot of chinese kids wearing a red-pink-peach uniforms with white collars, taking crap pictures with whatever sculpture/decorations available. Schematic betul.
We barged right in, ignoring the ushers(more red-pinkish troops) handing out invitation cards and whispering stuff like "Welcome!" and "Hello!".


Into the hall. Hell, more pink rangers. We scurried to some empty seats.
And then, the emcee announced that Losting will be performing next! the song True to You is next!
Oh me gosh, I hurried to get in contact with Hui Hui.
After some scuffling, me and Tasch got to the front, im equipped with, yeah, the D3100, while Tasch used my old D60.

have you heard before of the great Duck Rice from Skudai?

yes, duck. quack quack. can walk and swim.


anyways, Skudai seems like a famous place known for duck rice(or so I thought), and also a particular university.
So today, after a mini-concert from our Yunn and FenFen during the weekly Losting gathering, we headed to Sri Putri for some duck rice.
I've been here for 1.5 years, and this is only my 2nd time eating duck rice. And the first time i went, I got the wrong shop, and the duck was bad.
Well, there isnt gonna be a mistake again this time. lol!

video aftermath

wah, back to blogger again.

so, something has been keeping me busy for the past week.
which is, the video for the Faculty Night of course!

Thanks to Yan from Landscape who gave me this inevitable task of making a video for our final year seniors.
Initially i had no idea on what to do, but then one of my juniors, Kael, gave an idea of filming them 1st years on what they think of the final year juniors.
Hence, with Sue's D90 in hand, i began recording straightaway.
Well everything went smooth...until the editing part.
Now THAT is the part which took up alot of my time. I was left chasing alot of assignments and presentations coz of the time spent editing this video clip.

Well, at the end of the fac nite after the video showing, alot of my 5th year seniors came to me with words of thank-yous and pat-on-the-backs.
I feel so grateful. So so grateful.
Even though it almost consumed my life, but the effect it gave and left was superb.

Haha, im loving every bit of these praises. XD

FreshKon Bigger and Brighter

i just got myself a pair of "Big Eye Contacts".
next Friday night is our faculty's first Faculty Night, and i reckon this contacts could look good on me. Could.

i have pretty big eyes, it seems! the contacts made only abit of difference. but still, its brown, and it increases my iris diameter by 0.27mm.

Anyway, since its still new and i wore it straightaway, something weird happened.

The right lens slipped off from my iris!

i mean, the lens didn fall out from my eye, but it slipped away from the iris, and floated somewhere on the white zones of my eye. 

at first, i did not know about it as i thought it was just some slight irritation. 

Then when i was gonna read somebody's facebook status update, it felt blurry...like something supernatural was messing around my right eye.

Or maybe, my Sharingan had awokened. So i thought. haha.

anyway, i went to the toilet, looked at the mirror, and Yikes! the lens was floating around itself. LOL. 

immediately positioned it back to the iris.

Got pretty scared about where the lens will float to next, hence i swiftly returned to my hostel room and removed it. Big eyes off! 

So i hope now that i dont have a crooked eye for next week's Fac Night...

Nuffnang

I am someone who likes to tell alot of stories.
I use to write novels when I was younger and then draw comics later.
I wrote and illustrate stories, everything.
Hence, I will blog mainly about fresh ideas I came up with.
Sometimes it tends to be unlogic and humourous, as I am a naturally born person with a sense of humour.
Sometimes I blog about my personal life too, eg: my university life, strange happenings or events and maybe troubles I've gotten myself into.

..wow! I cant believe I wrote all that on Nuffnang's information stuff.
Yep, after some convincing from Poon, I visited the Nuffnang website, clicked a few things, and there you go, a nuffnang logo appeared on the top right of my buroggu. 
I have minimal knowledge on nuffnang (almost none,sorry), but i know that it can earn me some money? haha. That will help alot, especially when I'm saving for a Nikon D7000.
Yeap, I'm planning to get a new SLR, the new D7000. Its not that my D60 is malfunctioning though. I have been using it for 1.65 years now and I really think its time to upgrade my gear.
Sometimes when you gotta go, you gotta go. :)

new year's eve and 2011

wow!
its the turn of a new year!!
2011!!!
and i bet alot of people went out to the streets on 31st night doing countdowns like a time bomb and later pour beer over one another.


As for me, well, I slept.


Since i'm back early to university, there wasn't alot of people here yet. The reason i came back early,is to take my car for servicing as well as to move room.
and guess what, i found out my left rear tyre's been KO'd by a stupid nail.
Take that! a new year's gift specially for me! :)

But then, Perodua later helped remove it and repaired the puncture.

Yeah, another new year's gift! God, i feel so blessed.



So there goes my New Year's day. Hanging out alone servicing car, getting gifts and hanging around bukit Tinggi.
Well, I can't remember when i actually celebrated New Year's Day in a formal way!
And it has become something like a no-celebration day for me.
Although i kinda feel the need to celebrate it, but, it hasnt come for a long time..like, 21 years? hahaha.

on and remembering one more thing, I did not celebrate Christmas too!! haha ain't that great?

Alright, i think i have a 2011 New Year's Resolution now.


To celebrate Christmas on 25th December 2011 and also 2012 New Year's Day.
